I started my career in tech nearly 10 years ago as an Executive Assistant. Throughout the years, I’ve moved into operational roles: Chief of Staff, Operations Manager, and Director of Operations to name a few, but I’m rooted in my partnership with leadership.

Partnering with legal counsel and financial management firms might sound boring, but can be one of the best ways to learn deeply about operations. I’ve done both, in addition to automating and managing internal legal and financial systems.

Creating connections with the greater team is crucial. Whether it’s coaching managers on how to support their teams, planning events, performance reviews cycles, compensation planning, recruiting, HR, or payroll and benefits automation, I’ve done it.

One of my favorite things to do as an operations professional is get deeply involved with other teams. I’ve help scale customer success, taken product ideas from inception to rollout, and worked closely with business development on expansion.
